found the pencil work to be missing in value a bit, and to be genrally lacking as a whole.

The piece was sold a while back, but I still wanted to do something with it (plus i need filler for ax :P )..

.. color was added by working various layers of color and such, the texture was an attempt at papyrus done with filters, renderings adjustments, and smooshing down layers.. can't rememmebr exactly how though >.<

Daily DeviationAnubis-color by *fevereon is a dynamic depiction of the Egyptian god Anubis. The canted angle adds a bit of action to an otherwise stagnant pose. Pair that with the nice textures in the background and we have ourselves quite a nice anthro piece! (Featured by `cooley)

I like it. The rougher texture gives it the composition a lot of power. I like how you cut through the hieroglyphs in the background with the shot of the pyramids. :) Very well done!

Hot! Color choices are perfect. Every element stands out and works together so well. Everything looks "just right" on this. I could see this as a juvenile-reading book cover (and I mean that in the best way possible).

Very nicely handled! The applied texture looks very good for the finished piece. The foot cropping really makes me wanna see his whole body, but aside from all that it really is wonderful. Also, good job keeping those blues nice and bright, they really help all of the colors glow! Keep up the good work!
