Aveline's tools of the trade by fevereon Aveline's tools of the trade by fevereon
Something awesome was happening, so I was panicking to get this costume done in time. These were all done in about 2 days, and I didn't get everything done in time. Had about 10 days to get everything finished with a commission in the mix too. Had to just wear what I had (DOH DOH DOH)

Sadly, I don't have any photos of the blowgun, as I had given it to a good home.

notes
Left bracer- 6 oz tooling leather, cut up a jacket to make the strips that are wrapped around it.

Right bracer- I used 3 different types of leather for it. the sleeves (also done on the left bracer) was a thinner oft leather, then the cuff that went over that was made out of a thicker leather, that I also used on the hat, gorget and lapels. The buckled straps was 6 oz. tooling leather. Its the most comfortable bracer I had ever made.

Gun Holster- This was a bit odd, but the mechanism was sitting on my back. Ubisoft Sophia's design team actually has switched the pistol around since, which is an awesome detail fix that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't made it. this holster will be remade in reverse. WTG Sophia!

Sash- I laser cut a stamp and custom stamped the fabric. I'm actually really happy with that, but I think I'll be changing out the patterned one with a silkier material to add textures (the solid red will be linen)

Undertunic- Its made of linen, and a thick linen painting tarp I bought at Harbor Freight Tools. In order to keep the holes from fraying, Its has weight and is quite comfortable!

If i can snag a couple decent photos of the full costume (or at least, what was done so far) , I'll post them on Monday when I'm allowed to. Mine all turned out blurry. stupid camera. Don't expect epic photos (or a finished costume for that matter >< )

Great work, Fev! Bummer you didn't get it all done in time, but what you did get done looks amazing (as always). Can't wait to see the pics - even if they're just hallway shots =P And this secret thing - intrigued!

Post when you're allowed? Would those pictures be from an official photo shoot for something?
