Boreas, a reawakened piece of ancient terrraforming technology that was dormant for millenia...

from a storyline of a comic concept i've been playing with for quite some time..
finally went back and finished this... wasn't liking it as first (think the colors were too bright & gaudy, and it was crash n burning, but did a bit of experimentation & think it was reasonably salvaged.. had fun with this piece ^^

Painter & photoshop Elements

..still like that "THINGUS" title a friend came up with though...
"Thermal Inter-atmospheric Nimbus Generating U-word System" ...
"look in the skies... it the THINGUS of the ancients!!!"

Oh wow, completely different color pallett, eh? More subtle. I really like the new look of this. It's one of my favorites of yours.

awsome, makes me want to live there.

Niiiiice. I love the color scheme you used. Looks very... "Sunrise pollution." I just love the way the colors blend into eachother... The change in colors was a good decision.

:jawdrop: This is beautiful! Fev! Wow! The color scheme is perfect. It's like watching...like watching this lost ghost of a colony arise for some unknown reason.

Yeeeaaaah. I need some therapy. I'm so weird.

this turned out great fev. I like the colours you ended up changing. the details worked out great too. you should think about doing some mail in art for trek or something. if you're interested, contact me, and I'll hook you up with some info.

*snicker* the thingus name always made me chuckle. I like the way you gave t a more worn and old look compared to the last version. And the softer pallete with the touches of purple/violet are a nice touch.:)

This picture has everything I like
Huge old rusty space junk, wires, and electrical blue colors!
Straight into my favourites. Great job

Oh just a tip: Use really thin, light color (white or almost white), brushes for small highligts (like the edges of the panels) this would make it look like its more detailed :)
