Boreas, a reawakened piece of ancient terrraforming technology that was dormant for millenia...
from a storyline of a comic concept i've been playing with for quite some time.. finally went back and finished this... wasn't liking it as first (think the colors were too bright & gaudy, and it was crash n burning, but did a bit of experimentation & think it was reasonably salvaged.. had fun with this piece ^^ Painter & photoshop Elements ..still like that "THINGUS" title a friend came up with though... "Thermal Inter-atmospheric Nimbus Generating U-word System" ... "look in the skies... it the THINGUS of the ancients!!!" Comments

 Niiiiice. I love the color scheme you used. Looks very... "Sunrise pollution." I just love the way the colors blend into eachother... The change in colors was a good decision.

 *snicker* the thingus name always made me chuckle. I like the way you gave t a more worn and old look compared to the last version. And the softer pallete with the touches of purple/violet are a nice touch.

Huge old rusty space junk, wires, and electrical blue colors! Straight into my favourites. Great job Oh just a tip: Use really thin, light color (white or almost white), brushes for small highligts (like the edges of the panels) this would make it look like its more detailed |
