FFVIII Gunblade WIPby *fevereon

Whoo look at that, its another gunblade prop on the internet yayyyyyyyy_{yyyyyyy_yyyyyyy}

Working on commission for FFVIII gunblade. When its done, it'll have a moveable side breach (so the cylinder pops out the side like a Colt Revolver), moving single action trigger mech ,and removable bullets.

Once I find the reversed lion thats in the second image (lol its around here somewhere

) I'll imbed it into the other side. The blade will be cast, with reinforcing rods imbedded into it because the stupid mdf decided to bow a little after I imbedded the first lion into it. BOOOOOOOO!

Bottom right is the innards of the trigger mech, its single action so you need to cock the hammer first, but very simple to build and/or mod for gun props you may make!

For the design of the lion on the blade : did you draw it yourself, or did you find a reference picture and printed it ?

I'm curently building a replica of Squall's gunblade (not as good as yours though), and I just can't find a good ref picture of that lion ... I guess I'll just print one of the bad quality pictures I've found and draw over the print-out to make it better (unless you could tell me where to find a quality reference picture ^^)
