Have to give a bit o' shooter love

Thought it would be fun to do a lil twist on here stylistically, with the big loud vibrant colors that you'd find on the old school boxart of those old NES carts you need to blow to get them to work..

Had to put a little luv for the big G in my pile, with my favorite enemies in the game *hugs moai*

This is Vic's Gradius 3 incarnation (i believe), as the ships gone through so many incarnations and ship design shifts from game to game, but this is one of my faves :3

This piece has been on my backburner for a long time, and thought it be time to get off my duff and do this..

the original concept is buried in my scraps section, should you wish to take a gander at the fuzzy airbrush tool slap out in an hour speedpaint that was the original..

but we rebuilt it, made it stronger..

[edit] friend took it and flipnturned it suggested a shift.. "flipped and rotated, this angle looks more ohshi-get-out-of-the-way".. and i agree, it also makes vic central focus..

and while i was at it, i went and dropped some color on the cockpit and wingtips (which i missed )
