LOTR- Boromir's Shield straps

Mike of blindsquirrelprops ( [link] ) and I are "tag teaming" a set of Boromir's shields from Lord of the Rings. He's working on the shields, and I was to do the leather straps. I still feel I'm a newbie in terms of leatherworking, so I was extra nervous about the project, since it was for someone else

new things i learned for project-
- we really REALLY need a leather sewing machine T_T
- how to make a decent custom stamp
- do not add tint to resin that'll be used as stamps. Enough pressure can squeeze out tinting!
.. did i mention needing a leather sewing machine? T_T
