Can't say I knew there was a series with the characters being older until I was commissioned for thos prop, but hey, ya' learn something new every day!

Miaka2u wanted the interior of the sheath lined to prevent the finish from being damaged, so I added fabric into the the interior. Went and snafu'ed, by painting the bevel a lighter grey, because doofus me forgot to check the ref, but I went back and fixed it XD
Used an ultra flat black finish, because it diffuses light nicely and accentuates the bevel as she requested. I tested it out in various lighting conditions to make sure it doesn't look fugly during photos

Commission for ~miaka2u, of Uchiha Sasuke's Sword from Shippuuden Naruto.. she and her twin sister do an awesome Naruto cosplay
