this was sent to convention art show before i was able to finish it, but it came back and i've been slowly working the whole thing over.. tis the current incarnation after dumping 20+ more hours into it..

the background was fun.. had considered at one point doing something similar in human format, but then thought of how much time i spent on this piece..

the old crustydusty incarnation's in scraps

Since there are very few 'anthro' works with this kind of quality, there's no way I can critique. This is amazing. :)

Looks really good! Maybe could use more contrast of very darks and bright whites on the dancer itself

The pencil work in this drawing is bloody amazing! *Especially* the background.

Extraordinary image. However it is very still. An Icon radiating power. It reminds me of some kind of formal cerimonal art you would find in a temple, rather than an illustration of an actual 'live' scene.

The shading on this is astonishing. :) I'm very impressed with the detail on it and the polished-metal effect on the swords. Your skills with tones just blow my mind. :) Great work!
