This is one of the wooden weapons i had completed for a science fiction convention last year, and since its that time of the year again, i'll be hitting the woodsop with some new designs for swords, daggers, and other miscellany fantasy pieces..
oddly, i never had any plans, for this piece, just began shaping wood, and later scrawled it on one of my shop tables afterwards...
built it with a plaque, and people tend to treat it as a kinetic sculpture when they see it..
bought last year by a Klingon who inspired me to the do the piece a year before..

Good work. I saw that at Animazement last year (pic of it anyways) and I always dug it. Kinda reminds me of the Glaive from "Krull." Nice to see it here!
