Just a visual sacrastic poke at the folks who apparently think that thats what digital artists have in their arsenel, because of all the bull digital artists catch like "oh, its easy because you did it on a computer"
It *is* JUST ANOTHER MEDIUM.
it IS however, less messy and takes up less physical space
do people have to be so narrowminded as to think that digital artists need to break out a pencil to "prove" that they can draw and such? This doesn't fall out of digital artists butts here...
.. and that button there doesn't really work
i wonder if acrylics were met with similar flak when they debuted..
Amen Brother man! I get so fucking angry when people rag on me or my art because I did it with a computer. As for traditional media and working on it sometime we lack the appropiate resources and must adapt to our current situation. Ie drawing with the mouse.

This Is great!
I completely understand some of the comments I have seen out and around... there are a lot of folks out there that seem to think that the tablet just does all the drawing for you!
I mean I have to keep my pen away from the tablet because if I don't I come back into the room to find all kinds of smutty drawing all over the screen and once I walk in on them drawing. ~sigh~
Sorry Mental drift there.
but all things being equal... I wanted to say great job and tip my hat to ya.

the problem is that people think we did it *because* of a computer. its nothing more than doing it *on* a computer..
but to be honest, after the initial investment in my computer, wacom, and such, there is little monetary loss of lost space for things that are saved, such as concepts or works in progress etc.... outside of health risks beyond those associated with being a secretary, i don't have to worry about things like inhaling toxic fumes or dust like i do with oils ot that damned cadnium yellow ), or dust fumes
but for traditional media, i invested well over 3 times that much, and it has completely taken over my 3 bedroom, open basement house.. not to mention the space to store all the finished and in progress/on hold woks... I also have to invest in equipment to ensure that i don't inhale hazardous fumes and such (espeically with woodworking, some woods are very toxic :\ ) ...shoot, i'm always winding up in the red because of my trad. media forays. digital media has kept me from being broke XD
but it sure as hell does not make others who can't afford it any less of an artist...
i am curious if the same was thought of folks who enjoyed and turned to acrylics when that meduim began showing up in the early 1900s ...
you know, the lil white smugde mark on my wacom there is the result of my accidently trying toi dtaw on it with a pen, and a ( horribly failed) attempt to sand the mark off XD.. had to flip the protecive plastic over XD

A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

I do more traditional work than digital, but I still agree entirely with what you're saying
And that button reminds me of an "eject" button I used to have next to my keyboard.. My friends were always afraid to push it
