Sacrificing their bodies & minds ifor a chance for glory, technically enhanced soldiers serve their masters fanatically.

Though the wings built into the outfit are there mainly to instill fear in enemies, they are removeable as not to interfere with hand to hand combat.

I think the entire concept is quite a great idea! Good shadows, nice texture, although I will have to admit.. those wings seem out of place.. or rather flat compare to the depth of the rest of the picture.
Nontheless... what a wonderful picture!

Your traditional work is fantastic. The detail is amazing and you blend the tones so well. I wish I could get my pencil to look half this good! :D

one thing to do is one you're done with a pencil work, take a good look at it and see if you can push more darks into it.. would be real handy to have a softer lead (like a 2B pencil) that is capable of a darker line :).. as long as you remember that pencils *can* go real dark, then make use of that range in value, you'll be capable of pushing all sorts of dimension in your work ^^

Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I do pencil work. :D
